“Waldo County - Engaging the Community on Climate Action” Brown Bag Lunch Discussion
Title
“Waldo County - Engaging the Community on Climate Action” Brown Bag Lunch Discussion
Description
Fred Bowers of the Belfast Climate Crisis Committee and Brenda Harrington of the ABCD project & Belfast Free Library, led a lunchtime community conversation about local climate action.
This event was part of the “Seasons of Creation: An Invitation to Celebration & Community Conversations” series, sponsored by St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church & St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, in collaboration with the Greater Bay Area Ministerium.
The folks who organized this series were very excited to read Katharine Hayhoe's book, "Saving Us: A Climate Scientist's Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World" - and they shared with the ABCD team that the ABCD project had inspired them to create these community climate conversations!
