Description
An account of the resource
Hold the Moon! Stop Climate Change! Don’t jump off the ledge! We’re all in this together. Go Green! Observe and Remedy. Smog in the skies. The hot sun, a driving force, melting the glaciers. Wish on the stars for change. They are reflections of light. Cage the Moon! Save it from violent space debris impacts.
The moon has a face and it has observed our world through all time.
Bio:
I was born and raised in Holliston, Massachusetts, the daughter of a graphic artist. My lifelong interest in color and visual expression has led me on a journey to many schools of thought and design. I studied Graphic Design at Massachusetts College of Art and The Portland School of Art in Maine. For a number of years I lived in Europe pursuing my interest in Fashion Design, where I attended the Paris American Academy in France. Clothes-making would later evolve into two-dimensional pictures employing pastels, fabrics, thread and found objects. After a twelve year hiatus from fabric art I became an Interior Designer. Also, I am a Feng Shui practitioner, advising clients on color choices, room flow and furniture placement. In the natural order of things, my new artwork has emerged in the form of paintings. I love putting stories together, juxtaposing color, texture, light and found objects. Manipulating and balancing, drawing on images from past influences and experiences. The act and the result of action creates the painting. With each project, new directions continue to manifest into works of art.
