Frackoff!

The idea that I find most exciting to express in art is the resonance that I feel between the human body, my own body, and the land, landscape, larger earth body. As a migraine sufferer, when I researched fracking and sat down to make an image about it, this was what I immediately visualized. It is my belief that if we could feel deep, empathic connection with the land that surrounds us, we would be able to make the required changes that would solve the climate crisis. I hope that this work suggests that connection.
